Global event ‘Dubai FinTech Summit’ to take place from May 8

Dubai continues to solidify its reputation as a global hub for FinTech and Innovation ahead of the Dubai FinTech Summit taking place on 8 and 9 May 2023.

Dubai FinTech Summit is a global event that will bring together more than 5,000 experts, thought leaders, policymakers, and decision-makers.

The summit is being held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance of UAE at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai.

Dubai FinTech Summit will bring together experts from around 40 sectors related to financial technology including Retail Banks, Government Institutions, Payment Processors, Auditing Firms, and more.

This two-day summit, organized by Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), will feature 60 distinguished speakers, discussing 20 important topics, with attendees expected from over 100 countries.

DIFC is one of the world’s most advanced financial centers, and the leading financial hub for the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA).

During 2022, investment in DIFC’s FinTech and innovation community exceeded $615 million and the total number of active firms in the sector grew 36 percent to 686.

The Fintech and Innovation sector in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA) region is growing at pace with a market value forecasted to double in size from $135.9 billion in 2021 to $266.9 billion in 2027, according to DIFC FinTech Hive’s 2022 FinTech Report.
