The Dubai Chambers, in cooperation with the UAE Embassy in Paris, has hosted an open dialogue in the French capital with a group of investors to highlight investment opportunities in Dubai for the French business community.

The event was held in the presence of Fahad Saeed Al Raqbani, UAE Ambassador to France, and Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, along with the participation of 45 French investors.

It aimed to showcase Dubai’s position as a global business and investment hub and a gateway to regional and international markets.

The discussions highlighted Dubai’s business-friendly environment, advanced infrastructure, and flexible regulatory framework.

Dubai Chambers also outlined its services and support mechanisms designed to assist French companies in establishing and expanding their operations in the emirate.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, stated that, “Dubai continues to strengthen its appeal to global companies seeking to expand their operations and access new markets, supported by its position as a leading international business hub that connects major economies and markets worldwide. We are committed to supporting French companies with the assistance they need to establish and grow their presence in Dubai, helping them achieve sustainable growth and capitalize on the emirate’s diverse business opportunities.”

The event reflects sustained interest from the French business community in Dubai’s economy. By the end of March 2026, a total of 3,275 French companies were registered as active members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, with 211 new firms joining in Q1 2026 alone. This represents a significant increase compared to 2016, when 497 French companies were registered.

In terms of trade performance, non-oil trade between Dubai and France reached $11.0 billion (AED 40.3 billion) in 2025, up from $5.0 billion (AED 18.4 billion) in 2021, marking a 120 percent increase over five years.

France also ranked as Dubai’s third-largest European trading partner in 2025, accounting for 17.7 percent of Dubai’s total trade with European Union member states.
