Dubai Municipality awards 3-year FM services contract to Imdaad

Imdaad, a multi-awarded, fully integrated facilities management (FM) company in the GCC, has signed a new three-year contract with Dubai Municipality, one of the largest governmental institutions in the UAE.

This is Imdaad’s third agreement with Dubai Municipality, effectively expanding the company’s footprint across the emirate and cementing its position as one of the UAE’s leading FM service providers.

Under the terms of the contract, Imdaad will deploy a 99-strong workforce to provide a comprehensive list of waste management, recycling, and infrastructure cleaning services to Dubai’s Al Mizhar 1, Al Mizhar 2, Muhaisnah 1, and Nad Al Hamar districts. This will entail the deployment of 11,712 bins of various capacities. The contract comes into effect on March 1, 2022.

Imdaad’s first major Dubai Municipality agreement, in which it provided integrated waste management services to over 10,000 people as well as recycling services that included the collection of 150 metric cubes of recyclables per month as part of the My City My Environment Phase – 1 project, ran from 2012 to 2017. The company’s second contract with Dubai Municipality, for cleaning services rendered across 14 of Dubai’s largest industrial areas, is still in progress.
