Jazeera Airways has operated its inaugural flight from Qaisumah Airport (AQI) in Hafar Al Batin, Saudi Arabia, to Cairo International Airport (CAI) in Egypt.
This flight marks a significant milestone for the airline, reinforcing its commitment to maintaining safe and reliable travel for passengers amid the current regional operational challenges. A total of 145 passengers were transported in a convoy of four buses from Kuwait to Qaisumah to board the outbound flight to Cairo.
This initiative is part of Jazeera Airways’ ongoing efforts to support passenger mobility and ensure continuity of travel while operations from Kuwait International Airport remain temporarily suspended for safety reasons.
The airline is also facilitating the return journey for passengers traveling from Cairo back to Kuwait via the same organized route, ensuring a safe and seamless experience. Looking ahead, Jazeera Airways plans to gradually increase flight frequencies and expand destinations from Qaisumah, including additional routes to Egypt and Jordan.
Flights to Turkey, India, and other key cities within Saudi Arabia are expected to be added soon, strengthening regional connectivity and offering passengers more convenient travel options.
Passengers planning to travel are encouraged to book their flights through the Jazeera Airways website or mobile app. The airline’s call center is also available for international inquiries, though passengers are advised that waiting times may be longer than usual due to high call volumes.
