The Omani-Pakistani Business Forum, organized by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), underscored the growing importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation and promoting joint investments between the private sectors of both nations.

The Business Forum forms part of a broader vision to strengthen economic ties and support initiatives that contribute to economic diversification in line with national development goals.

During the event, participants emphasized the need to create attractive, secure, and enabling investment environments that encourage the private sector to take a more active role in cross-border collaboration.

The Omani-Pakistani Business Forum also stressed the importance of leveraging the favorable and incentivized investment climates offered by both Oman and Pakistan, which can serve as a foundation for increased trade and mutual economic growth.

Discussions focused on a wide range of sectors with strong potential for partnership, including food security, information and communication technology (ICT), education, textiles, healthcare, construction, travel and tourism, automotive industries, import and export, and sporting goods. These sectors represent key areas for economic cooperation, innovation, and long-term investment.

A major highlight of the Omani-Pakistani Business Forum was the series of bilateral meetings held between business owners and investors from both countries. These meetings aimed to explore potential partnerships, facilitate knowledge exchange, and identify joint investment opportunities in emerging and high-growth sectors.

Such interactions are expected to open new horizons for economic and trade collaboration, build stronger business networks, and contribute to a more robust and diversified economic future for both Oman and Pakistan.
