Parkin Company, Dubai’s leading paid public parking provider, has signed a five-year Parking Management Framework Agreement with Al Futtaim Group to deliver parking regulation and enforcement services across key retail destinations in the emirate.
Under the agreement, Parkin will manage People of Determination (POD) parking spaces at Dubai Festival City Mall, Festival Plaza, and Arabian Center, covering 61 spaces at Dubai Festival City Mall, 30 at Festival Plaza, and 16 at Arabian Center.
The initiative aims to improve compliance and ensure proper use of designated POD parking spaces.
Parkin will oversee enforcement operations at all locations, including issuing and validating parking fines for POD spaces and handling customer feedback and disputes, streamlining operational efficiency at the retail centers. Insights from on-ground operations will also support continuous improvements in the parking experience.
The partnership with Al Futtaim will leverage Parkin’s advanced parking systems, including License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology for real-time vehicle monitoring and enforcement. Parkin will install, operate, and maintain all systems across the retail sites, ensuring reliable performance through preventive and corrective measures.
