Qatari Diar has opened SEVEN, the final residential building at Southbank Place in central London, marking the completion of the $1.33 Billion (GBP 1 Billion) mixed-use development delivered in partnership with Canary Wharf Group.

The opening marks the culmination of a redevelopment project spanning more than a decade and completes the transformation of a prominent riverside location on London’s South Bank.

The milestone was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Qatari Diar CEO Sheikh Hamad bin Talal Al-Thani, Canary Wharf Group CEO Shobi Khan, and distinguished guests.

Located on London’s South Bank, SEVEN features contemporary architecture designed by Stanton Williams, with inspiration drawn from the Royal Festival Hall and the neighboring Southbank Centre while reflecting the area’s cultural character.

SEVEN offers 92 apartments & penthouses

SEVEN represents the final opportunity to purchase a new home at Southbank Place and comprises 92 lateral apartments and penthouses.

The interiors, designed by award-winning studio Albion Nord, include residences overlooking the River Thames. Many apartments feature large balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows offering protected panoramic views of landmarks including the London Eye, River Thames, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.

Built around the iconic Shell Tower and occupying a 5.25-acre site, Southbank Place is located near several of London’s leading cultural and entertainment destinations.

The development is situated along the riverside promenade close to the Royal Festival Hall and the Southbank Centre, while the National Theatre and The Old Vic are within walking distance.

Southbank Place also offers direct access to Waterloo Station, including National Rail services and the Jubilee, Northern and Bakerloo Underground lines, providing connectivity to London’s business, retail and cultural districts.
