The UAE is all set to host the “Ghana: Limitless Opportunities Business Forum” in the second week of March at Jafza One Convention Center, Jebel Ali Free zone.

The event is expected to explore ways to strengthen business ties between the UAE and Ghana and prospects of mutually-beneficial partnership agreements.

To discuss possible business and investment opportunities for both countries, the event will assemble major high-profile stakeholders including;

  • Mr. Nana Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana
  • Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE’s Minister of State for Foreign Trade
  • Mr. Alan Kyerematen, Minister of Trade and Industry of Ghana
  • Mr. Alhaji Ahmed Ramadan, Ambassador of Ghana to the UAE and
  • Mr. Yofi Grant, CEO of the Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC)

Many prominent CEOs, managers of local government and private financial institutions, and representatives of the business community in Ghana will also attend the event.

The Ghana Business Forum will feature a wide range of panel discussions on energy, housing & construction, hygiene, trade & manufacturing, tourism, art and culture.

The Forum will witness the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to create a conducive environment for UAE-Ghana companies, promote trade missions and facilitate information exchange between the two parties.

The UAE-Ghana economic relationship has made major strides in recent years since the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry opened an office in Ghana in 2015.

With such strong ties, the two sides exchanged numerous visits from business and government representatives. Currently, more than 68 Emirati companies are registered in Ghana, implementing multiple projects and helping to increase trade between the two countries.
