UAE’s leading master-developer Arada has awarded the construction contract to build The Boulevard, a luxurious residential complex at its Sharjah mega-community Aljada.

The $49 million (AED180 million) worth contract was won by Dubai-based Al Ashram Contracting, a leading construction firm with more than 45 years of experience in building a wide range of residential, commercial, hospitality, and infrastructure projects in the UAE. The project will begin construction immediately, and homes will be completed by the end of 2022.

The Boulevard, located on the edge of Aljada’s ultra-modern East Village district, consists of three apartment blocks with a variety of amenities and lush green landscaping. The nine-story buildings are situated next to Aljada’s main avenue, a beautiful tree-lined street lined with stores, restaurants, and cafes.

“This milestone is evidence of our determination to move forward rapidly with our construction plans at one of the UAE’s fastest-growing communities. These distinctive and high-end homes in one of the most desirable parts of Aljada have been welcomed by investors and end-users and will be a valuable addition to Sharjah’s property landscape on completion.”

According to the company statement, the Boulevard buildings, which total 600 units, offer a variety of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments in a variety of sizes and floorplans. All apartments come with smart home technology added as standard, and the complex also includes a fully-equipped fitness club and a communal swimming pool, as well as a range of cafes and retail outlets on the ground floor.

Arada has already completed 465 units in Aljada’s seven apartment buildings, with another seven apartment buildings, as well as a townhouse and villa cluster, set to be completed in the coming months.
