Dubai’s HOD join forces with Tamil Mart for new eCommerce platform

Dubai-based digital transformation specialist and eCommerce enabler, House of Digital (HOD) has partnered with Tamil Mart in order to launch a new joint venture eCommerce platform in the UAE.

HOD, which has invested $190,580 (Dh700,000) into the joint venture eCommerce platform, will benefit from the revenue-sharing partnership with Tamil Mart and manage the eCommerce application through its enterprise eCommerce solution.

Tamil Mart is the largest supermarket chain for South Indian products in UAE. With seven large-format supermarkets, Tamil Mart is the only organized retail chain in the Gulf region that promotes authentic products sourced from the Tamil Nadu state of India

“The new eCommerce platform will help spread organic and healthy products sourced from sustainable and organic farms in Tamil Nadu and promote healthy living while supporting sustainable farming. We are glad to form this partnership with Tamil Mart that will help organic and healthy food as well as authentic Tamil products available to the UAE consumers who would be able to get the products at their doorsteps through the eCommerce application.”

The new joint venture with HOD will help a wider consumer base access the Tamil Nadu-made products that will be delivered to their doorsteps by the new eCommerce platform. The new eCommerce platform is the ninth eCommerce application by HOD.
