The Environment Fund (EF) of Saudi Arabia has launched the third edition of its ‘Environment Insights’ report, highlighting major developments in the environmental sector, along with emerging trends and investment opportunities in sustainability and environmental innovation.

A key focus of this edition of the Environment Insights report is the review of IFAT 2026, emphasizing its role in advancing innovation in water resilience and the circular economy. The report also underscores the continued progress of national initiatives aimed at environmental transformation, in alignment with Saudi Arabia’s National Environment Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.

This third issue further places special emphasis on national efforts supporting wildlife conservation and biodiversity protection. It highlights innovative solutions advancing the blue economy, as well as recent progress achieved under the Arabian Leopard Program in species recovery and conservation efforts.

In a dedicated section in the Environment Insights report, Environment Fund’s Chief Investment and Treasury Officer, Taghreed Al-Hurasen, provides insights into the fund’s investment portfolio and overall strategy. She also outlines the role of the Impact Investment Program, which continues to support environmental innovation while promoting sustainable financial growth.

The Environment Insights report is part of the Environment Fund’s broader efforts to strengthen environmental responsibility and enhance public environmental awareness through interactive campaigns. The fund also plays an enabling role in volunteer initiatives designed to increase community participation and embed environmental governance practices across Saudi Arabia.

The Environment Fund (EF) was established under Cabinet Resolution No. 416 dated March 26, 2019, and operates with full legal personality along with financial and administrative independence. As a national financing institution, it supports environmental sustainability across Saudi Arabia in line with Vision 2030 and the National Environment Strategy.

The Environment Fund continues to support the Kingdom’s environmental transformation by facilitating financing, encouraging innovation, enabling entrepreneurship, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders. These efforts collectively contribute to advancing the objectives of the National Environment Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.
