The Family Business Council Gulf (FBCG) will host its Annual GCC Summit of the year 2025 in Muscat for the first time, welcoming over 150 of the region’s most prominent business families.
Under the theme ‘Family Business Reimagined’, FBCG summit 2025 invites families to rethink traditional models and adopt forward-looking approaches to governance, leadership, and legacy. Through plenaries, multigenerational dialogue, and collaborative sessions, the event will explore how regional family enterprises can navigate global shifts and shape a sustainable future, by families, for families, and together across generations.
The FBCG summit acts as a key platform for collaboration, bringing together thought leaders, decision-makers, and visionaries from the region’s leading family enterprises. Through focused discussions, peer exchanges, and forward-looking strategies, participants will address the evolving landscape of family businesses and explore ways to strengthen their resilience, ensure continuity, and drive sustainable growth for future generations.
The FBCG Summit is hosted in collaboration with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), the host partner, alongside Hind Bahwan Group, MB LLC, and MHD LLC, underscoring Oman’s strong tradition of enterprise and its growing regional influence.
As the GCC chapter of the Family Business Network (FBN), representing more than 5,000 families across 65 countries; FBCG remains committed to supporting the continuity and prosperity of family-owned enterprises in the region. Its board includes prominent leaders such as Badr Al Ghurair, Dr. Ibrahim Alrajhi, Hassan Jameel, Musaab Al Muhaidib, Omar Al Futtaim, Omar Alfardan, Omar Alghanim, Mohammed Alnowais, Rasha Al Darwish, and Tarek Sultan.
The FBCG summit will also feature Bombardier as the official award partner, underscoring a shared commitment to advancing excellence and stewardship across generations. The programme includes insights from prominent speakers such as Per Kristiansen, Master Trainer of LEGO Serious Play; Mohamad Islam, Founder of The Mo Show Podcast; and Dr. Anna Machin, Evolutionary Anthropologist at the University of Oxford.
