Microsoft has rolled out the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview Build to the Dev and Beta Channels, introducing several exciting new features.

The multinational technology conglomerate has introduced Ask Copilot in the taskbar, providing users with one-click access to Copilot Vision and Voice, making interactions more seamless and intuitive.

To enable the experience, users can navigate to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Ask Copilot. Additionally, users have the option to control whether the Copilot app launches automatically at sign-in through the “Auto start on login” toggle in the Copilot app settings.

The Ask Copilot integration is designed to complement the existing Windows Search experience, so users can continue utilizing Search as they always have, while also exploring the new Copilot features.

Notably, Ask Copilot uses existing Windows APIs to return results for apps, files, and settings, similar to how Windows Search operates. Microsoft has emphasized that this feature does not grant Copilot access to personal content, ensuring user privacy and data security.

Another feature that is part of the Windows 11 Insider Preview Build is shared audio. It is claimed to be a new addition built using the Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) Audio broadcast technology for Copilot+ PCs. Microsoft claims it allows two users to share audio content simultaneously.

To use this feature, access the Shared Audio (Preview) tile in quick settings, select the two supported and connected accessories, and select Share, as per the statement.

With the launch of the Asus ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, Microsoft introduced a new full-screen experience (FSE). The company is now rolling out the same experience to other Windows 11-powered handheld gaming PCs as well.

According to reports, the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview is designed to deliver improved task switching, optimized performance, and responsive gameplay. These enhancements aim to provide a smoother and more efficient experience for gamers and power users alike.

The preview is currently being rolled out to MSI Claw models and is expected to expand to additional OEMs in the coming months, offering wider access to these advanced features.
