National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has expanded its banking offering for retirees through its ‘Experienced Individuals’ package, providing competitive deposit returns, free lifetime credit cards, home banking services, and exclusive lifestyle benefits.
The package offers interest rates of up to 3.6 percent on NBK Fixed Deposits and 3.500 percent on NBK Flexible Term Deposit and NBK Partial Withdrawal Deposit for customers with deposits starting from $80,850 (KWD 25,000).
As part of a promotional campaign running through Dec. 31, 2026, eligible retirees can also receive lifetime free credit cards, including the NBK Visa Signature Credit Card, NBK World Mastercard Credit Card, and NBK Visa Platinum Credit Card.
Retired customers transferring their pension to NBK are eligible for a cash reward, while customers within the NBK Thahabi segment gain access to home banking services previously reserved for Privilege Banking clients.
Under the service, customers can request banking documents or cash delivery to their homes through concierge partners Peacock Concierge and Q’go Concierge, enhancing accessibility and convenience.
Lifestyle and savings incentives for retirees
NBK said that the package also includes seasonal travel promotions and additional benefits planned for launch in the coming months as part of its efforts to enhance the retirement banking experience.
Retirees are also eligible for the bank’s Al Jawhara Account, which offers a prize pool of $16.17 million (KWD 5 million). Customers receive one entry for every $161.70 (KWD 50) saved, with opportunities to participate in weekly, monthly, and grand prize draws.
Eligibility for monthly and grand prize draws begins at $3,234 (KWD 1,000) for Al Jawhara Account holders and $16,170 (KWD 5,000) for Al Jawhara Saver Account customers.
