The 57th edition of the Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show (WJMES) has veen attracting leading local jewelry brands, with exhibitors unveiling exclusive collections and rare creations that combine innovation with craftsmanship.
A key attraction at this year’s event is the world’s most expensive gold dress, presented by Al Romaizan Gold and Jewellery in its debut appearance at the exhibition.
Made in the UAE, the dress weighs more than 10 kilograms of pure 21-karat gold and is valued at approximately $1.36 million (AED5 million). Recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s most expensive gold dress, the piece has become one of the exhibition’s standout attractions.
Stunning gold jewelry collections at WJMES
Alongside the record-holding creation, Al Romaizan Gold and Jewellery is launching several new jewelry collections exclusively at the 57th edition of WJMES, strengthening its presence in the luxury jewelry segment.
Salem Al-Shueibi Jewellery is using the exhibition to launch the ‘Aura Mosa’ collection, created in collaboration with Emirati designer Shamma Al Hallami. The company is also showcasing artistic creations from its record-setting ‘Sheikha Hind’ collection, launched last year, along with more than 500 new diamond designs. The launch reflects its strategy of expanding its premium portfolio and introducing exclusive collections tailored to evolving consumer preferences in the high-end jewelry market.
Arabian Gold & Diamond is presenting a selection of internationally recognized artistic creations that have earned entries in the Guinness World Records.
Among the highlights is the ‘Union Frame,’ a design featuring landmarks from all seven emirates, alongside the world’s largest mirror and the world’s largest ‘Mertasha’ jewelry piece, underscoring the creativity and craftsmanship of the UAE’s jewelry industry.
Jawhara Jewellery is showcasing a range of luxury designs focused on exclusivity and craftsmanship. Among the highlights is the ‘Palm’ Collection, featuring 18-karat gold pieces set with natural diamonds and gemstones, including rubies, emeralds, and sapphires. The collection has become one of the company’s flagship product lines following strong market demand.
The company is also presenting an exclusive selection of pearl jewelry and bespoke diamond bridal sets produced as one-of-a-kind pieces, with only a single item created from each design. The approach is designed to enhance exclusivity and appeal to affluent customers seeking unique, personalized jewelry.
