Oman Air has received the Middle East’s most comfortable seats award at the 2026 Apex Best Awards in Dublin, Ireland.

The awards were held alongside the Future Travel Experience Europe, Middle East & Africa Ancillary Services and Retail 2026 conference.

The recognition was awarded based on passenger evaluations and marks the third time Oman Air has received the distinction, following previous wins in 2022 and 2024.

The award reflects the airline’s continued focus on enhancing passenger comfort and investing in onboard products and services across its network.

Renata Rashid, Vice President of Brand, Guest Experience and Loyalty at Oman Air, said that the recognition is an important acknowledgment of the airline’s efforts and reflects the satisfaction and confidence of its guests. She added that Oman Air remains committed to further improving the travel experience and will continue investing in initiatives that support passenger comfort and service quality.

Rashid remarked that the award reflects the airline’s ongoing efforts to develop its products and services, noting that Oman Air’s fleet features spacious cabin layouts, modern seating, and a range of travel options designed to meet the needs of different passenger segments.

The Apex Best Awards are based on independent and verified passenger surveys that assess airlines across several categories, including seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverage offerings, in-flight entertainment, and wireless connectivity.

The awards are widely used within the aviation industry as a measure of passenger satisfaction and service quality, with rankings determined through direct customer feedback.
