Qatar Development Bank (QDB) has sealed a partnership agreement with Young Entrepreneurs Club (YEC), operating under the Ministry of Sports and Youth, to foster entrepreneurship and drive innovation in the region.
The agreement will combine the Club’s existing programs and initiatives with the comprehensive support network and resources provided by QDB, aimed at developing a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem by empowering young innovators and enhancing the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector.
QDB will act as a key supporter of YEC, backing various initiatives including conferences, entrepreneurial events, and year-round workshops that focus on supporting entrepreneurs.
In addition, the bank will support the YEC.qa platform and app, while working together on knowledge sharing and mentorship to expand opportunities within Qatar’s entrepreneurship landscape.
Ahmad Hassan Al Mahasna, Senior Marketing and Communications Manager at QDB, stated that this partnership marks a significant milestone in the development of Qatar’s entrepreneurship sector.
Al Mahasna also reaffirmed their commitment to empowering the entrepreneurial ecosystem and supporting creative youth across key sectors and industries that form the backbone of successful and advanced economies.
Abdulrahman Tarek Al Emadi, Chief of Membership and Organization at the Young Entrepreneurs Club, highlighted the importance of this strategic alliance in empowering ambitious youth.
This agreement comes as part of their mission to nurture entrepreneurial projects while strengthening the capabilities of Qatari entrepreneurs.
