Riyadh Air has launched RX Pay, a suite of branded payment cards issued in partnership with leading Saudi banks, offering guests rewards on everyday spending through the airline’s loyalty program.
The new Mastercard-branded payment solution enables cardholders to earn Sfeer Points on purchases, including flight bookings, online shopping, and daily transactions. The points can be redeemed for flights, travel experiences, and eligible purchases wherever Mastercard is accepted.
RX Pay has been developed by Riyadh Air in collaboration with leading Saudi banks, while Mastercard provides the payment network, security, and global acceptance. The airline said the card is designed to extend its guest experience beyond air travel by integrating travel rewards into everyday spending.

Rewards on everyday spending with RX Pay
According to Riyadh Air, RX Pay allows guests to earn Sfeer Points on everyday spending while accessing travel-related benefits in Saudi Arabia and abroad.
The airline said Sfeer Points can be redeemed for flights, travel experiences, or eligible retail purchases wherever Mastercard is accepted, expanding redemption options beyond airline services.

“Riyadh Air is the world’s first digitally native airline, and RX Pay is a key part of our vision to create a seamless, integrated the travel experience for our guests. By working directly with Mastercard, and issued by leading Saudi banks, we can give our guests an experience no traditional airline card can match. We didn’t want to put our name on someone else’s card – we wanted to create something truly Riyadh Air, one that rewards our guests in their everyday lives, not just when they fly.”
Adam Jones, Executive Vice President and Division President for West Arabia at Mastercard, stated that, “Riyadh Air is redefining what a modern travel brand can offer its guests, and we are proud to bring the security, global acceptance, and everyday value of the Mastercard network to RX Pay. Together with leading Saudi banks, we are making it easier for travelers in Saudi Arabia and beyond to be rewarded for the way they already live and travel.”
Features designed for travelers
RX Pay includes multi-currency capability, split payment functionality, and flexible installment options provided by participating issuing banks. Riyadh Air said additional features will be introduced over time as the program expands.
