Dubai based leading telecom and media groups, MBC Group and Saudi Telecom Company (STC)have announced their association to offer Shahid VIP, MBC’s signature video on demand (SVOD) service, to STC customers for no extra cost for the term of two months.
STC users now have the chance to watch a large variety of exclusive and original Arabic TV shows and movies. Users will also gain access to MBC’s live channels anytime anywhere through the Shahid app available on smartphones and a number of Smart TVs accessed quickly via their STC account. The association between both companies is in line with their continued mission to grant customers and audiences the best content from the region and beyond.
Under this new arrangement, STC customers will receive a two-month Shahid VIP package free of charge by signing up for the platform using their packages. All STC customers have to do is send “1” via SMS to 808885 to start using the service.
STC customers can later continue using Shahid VIP through a subscription of SR 19.99 per month, which can be directly added to a customer’s STC post-paid monthly bill for convenience.
This association comes in tandem with MBC Group launching an exclusive and assorted set of Arabic-language series and other programs this Ramadan, in addition to Shahid Originals and Shahid Premieres offering exclusive content from Disney — in both Arabic and English languages — plus Marvel, and Pixar. Meanwhile, content on Shahid VIP can be downloaded for offline viewing and can be streamed ad-free for no interruptions.
