UAE’s largest provider of healthcare services, Response Plus Holdings and Falcon Aviation, an Abu Dhabi-based business aviation services operator in the MENA Region, have partnered to provide air ambulance services in the UAE.

Two specially equipped helicopters will be commissioned for the air ambulance needs. Falcon Aviation operates multiple hubs in the UAE, including at Al Bateen Executive Airport and at Al Maktoum International.

The ADX-listed Response Plus is part of VPS Healthcare, which operates the Burjeel, Medeor and LLH Hospitals in the UAE. Response Plus delivers on-site and rapid response primary medical services as well as specialist training.

Its corporate clients include oil giants such as Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), on behalf of which Response Plus operates two helicopters as well as other prominent construction or project companies.

“There is an increasing need for trauma patients and even non-trauma ones to have access to instant inter-emirate transportation. It can be for the healthcare facilities operated by our group, such as Burjeel Medical City in Abu Dhabi, or for third-party providers anywhere in the UAE. We operate two helicopters on behalf of ADNOC which belong to Abu Dhabi Aviation. For the air ambulances, we have Falcon doing the needful.

In November 2021, Response Plus Medical Holding announced their expansion plans into India and Saudi Arabia. It invested $10 million in India’s API Holding, one of the leading digital healthcare companies with a pan India presence and invested $2.04 million in buying 20 ambulances.

In 2021, Response Plus Holding acquired Health-Tech Training for $2.6 million. This acquisition offers Response Plus Holding to combine the important aspects of training and career development in their major vertical of medical manpower supply.
