“DEAL 2022 is the reflection of the theme park and amusement industry sector and showcases the latest concepts from across the globe. We have a successful business model and we have repeated the success story for 28 consecutive years. We all had our share of the challenges during the pandemic, however, it is time now to regroup and take the industry forward.”

The IEC Chairman further added that, “As part of the industry we need to utilize the collective strengths to bring the industry back to its past glory. DEAL thereby serves as the ideal platform for the amusement industry to achieve that important goal. A wide array of amusement industry projects, both large and small, are shaping up and will be launched in the next few years; and, that is an important focus for us. There is a high demand that we are witnessing from the GCC and Africa region and as every year we are expecting a massive footfall at our show this year from that region”.

Known across the globe as one of the latest theme parks and amusement capital of the world, the Middle East region has launched a series of world-class unmatched architectural masterpieces among other projects. The Leisure, Entertainment & Attractions (LEA) Conference by MENALAC, organized in conjunction with DEAL 2022 will showcase these trends and other industry developments.

Speaking about DEAL 2022, Mr. Sharif Rahman, Chief Executive Officer, International Expo-Consults LLC, remarked that, “We are delighted to open doors once again and welcome the world to our show. These are exciting times and there is a great sense of vibrancy and urgency in this region to hop on to some of the best entertainment projects. Being part of the industry we know the underlying pulse of the market and we are confident that the show will be a turning point for many exhibitors. The opportunities that are present in our region are going to keep the exhibitors busy for a very long time. Most importantly, we are delighted to host our lucrative and curated B2B event in the old format, in-person,”.

“We have transcended to a very exciting phase with regard to the entertainment industry in the Middle East. UAE boasts of multiple, award-winning entertainment venues nestled in the country. With host of multiple theme parks such as IMG World of Adventures, Legoland, Legoland Hotel Motiongate, Bollywood Parks; Ferrari World and Warner Bros, Warner Bros Hotel, Ain Dubai, the world’s highest observation wheel, Museum of the future, Madame Tussauds, the country has redefined entertainment. The region is undergoing a massive transformation and as a result, a lot of growth is expected to originate from all the changes. DEAL is therefore highly significant in helping the entertainment and leisure industry in the MENA region to expand and register growth,” Mr. Rahman further added.

DEAL 2022 has several new exhibitors this year, along with country pavilions and concepts from around the world. The 3-day show is expected to attract thousands of serious buyers and investors from 70+ nations this year.
