Visit Qatar has launched its annual summer campaign, ‘Hala Summer’, unveiling a packed calendar of events and experiences set to run from May through the end of September 2026.

The initiative aims to reinforce the country’s appeal as a dynamic summer destination, offering a wide mix of entertainment, hospitality, and leisure activities for both residents and international visitors.

A season packed with entertainment, experiences

The 2026 edition of ‘Hala Summer’ promises a diverse line-up designed to appeal to families, couples, groups of friends, and adventure seekers alike. Among the standout attractions are the Qatar Toy Festival and immersive experiences such as Minecraft World, Colorverse, Fontana Circus, and Sneaker Con.

Music lovers can also look forward to a series of live concerts, including a highly anticipated performance by John Legend on 10 September.

Hospitality, leisure and waterfront attractions

Complementing the entertainment programs at Hala Summer 2026, a wide selection of hotels and resorts across Qatar will roll out curated summer offerings, including exclusive stay packages, seasonal dining menus, and family-friendly activities.

Visitors can explore popular water-based attractions such as Meryal Waterpark located on Qetaifan Island, alongside theme parks and a variety of indoor entertainment venues designed to beat the summer heat.

Beach clubs, upscale dining venues, and recreational activities further enhance the experience. From ziplining adventures over turquoise waters to relaxing in air-conditioned luxury spaces, the campaign caters to a broad spectrum of travel preferences.

Hala Summer 2026 with family-friendly focus

While the Hala Summer program strongly emphasizes family-friendly entertainment, it also highlights Qatar’s appeal as a destination for couples seeking luxury and relaxation, as well as groups looking for vibrant social and adventure experiences.

The combination of high-end resorts, engaging attractions, and seasonal promotions ensures there is something for every type of visitor throughout the five-month campaign.

Qatar Toy Festival returns bigger than ever

As part of the broader initiative, Qatar Calendar has confirmed the return of the Qatar Toy Festival in 2026 under the theme ‘More to Imagine, A Whole World of Fun’. The festival will take place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre from 1 to 31 July, spanning more than 22,000 square metres across four halls, making it the largest edition to date.

Organised in collaboration with Spacetoon Group, the festival will evolve into a fully integrated entertainment experience, combining global brands, live performances, retail zones, and interactive activations.

Spanning five months, the ‘Hala Summer’ campaign reflects Qatar’s growing ambition to establish a year-round events calendar. Through initiatives led by Visit Qatar, the country continues to position itself as a leading destination for large-scale events and family-focused entertainment in the region.
