Qatar Postal Services Company (Qatar Post) has highlighted its strategy to transform postal services and supply chains to support the growing demands of e-commerce during the Third Arab Postal Leaders Forum held in Rabat, Morocco.

The two-day forum, held under the theme “Transforming Postal Supply Chains and Digital Trade Networks for an E-Commerce-Driven Future”, brought together senior postal and logistics officials, industry leaders and experts from across the Arab region and beyond to discuss the future of postal networks, digital trade and logistics transformation.

Qatar Post emphasized the need for postal operators to adopt modern, technology-driven business models and redesign supply chains to align with the rapid expansion of the digital economy and the increasing demand for efficient e-commerce delivery solutions.

During the forum’s opening session, Hassan Jasim Al Sayed, CEO of Qatar Post, delivered a presentation on reinventing postal networks to meet the requirements of the e-commerce economy. He highlighted the importance of evolving traditional postal networks into integrated logistics ecosystems that focus on parcel delivery, digital trade services and customer-centric solutions.

Al Sayed also emphasized the role of digital transformation, automation and upgraded operational infrastructure in enabling postal networks to improve efficiency, expand capabilities and respond to changing market requirements.

Qatar Post said the transition towards digitally enabled postal and logistics systems is essential to supporting the growth of e-commerce, enhancing supply chain performance and strengthening connectivity between markets.

The company noted that its participation in the Arab Postal Leaders Forum reflects its continued commitment to advancing the postal and logistics sector, promoting regional and international cooperation, and contributing to the development of a modern digital ecosystem capable of supporting the evolving needs of the global e-commerce industry.
