The Dubai Community Development Authority (CDA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with global luxury brand Louis Vuitton to expand career opportunities for Emirati talent and People of Determination.
The agreement aims to create new pathways for Emiratis across sectors such as retail, fashion, and craftsmanship, while strengthening Dubai’s position as a global model for social and economic empowerment.
Focus on specialized skills and career growth
Under the MoU, the two entities will collaborate to develop specialized skills among Emirati citizens in areas including tailoring, repairs, craftsmanship, inventory management, retail sales, and communication.
The initiative is designed to align workforce capabilities with evolving labor market demands while enabling long-term career development.
A key component of the partnership is the inclusion of People of Determination in the workforce. This will be supported through targeted training programs, structured employment opportunities, assistive technologies, and customized workplace accommodations to ensure accessibility and sustained engagement.
The collaboration will promote a broader ecosystem of social responsibility by supporting volunteer initiatives and advancing corporate social responsibility programs.
Particular emphasis will be placed on women’s empowerment and the integration of People of Determination into meaningful professional roles.
