It will drive substantial investments, boost tourism, and deliver long-term stakeholder value as the region’s premier integrated destination and real estate platform.
Following the successful launch of Marjan Beach, the UAE’s most comprehensive mixed-use beach town destination, Ras Al Khaimah is advancing infrastructure on the expansive 85-million-square-foot masterplan. The development comprises eight distinct neighborhoods featuring 22,000 residential units and 12,000 luxury hotel keys, designed to accommodate 74,000 residents, a workforce of 32,000, and up to 180,000 annual visitors. Marjan Beach spans 3 kilometers of pristine beachfront with 6.5 million square feet of open green space, blending connectivity, walkability, and sustainable community living to position Ras Al Khaimah as a premier tourism gateway and investment hub.
Aligned with RAK Vision 2030, Marjan Beach will boost accommodation capacity by attracting major international hospitality brands, with international visitors expected to represent 60 percent of total arrivals. The development extends into the mountains with 100 kilometres of planned hiking and biking trails over the next five years, promoting active tourism amidst Ras Al Khaimah’s dramatic landscapes. The destination will also host world-class cultural and entertainment events aimed at attracting over 20,000 festival attendees annually.
Supporting the hospitality ecosystem, Marjan will provide world-class accommodation for more than 15,000 hospitality professionals, ensuring attractive living standards to retain top talent. Operational excellence and sustainability will be prioritized through state-of-the-art laundry facilities capable of processing over 100,000 tons annually while maintaining minimal energy consumption.
