Rain Management W.L.L. (Rain Bahrain) and BENEFIT have entered into a strategic partnership to enhance the integration between Bahrain’s digital payments ecosystem and the virtual asset sector.
Under the agreement, Rain has become the first cryptocurrency platform in Bahrain to integrate BenefitPay as a direct payment method, enabling customers to purchase virtual assets instantly through the national digital payment system.
The integration strengthens Rain’s fiat on-ramp infrastructure and allows users to complete transactions in real time through participating commercial banks licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain.
The collaboration eliminates traditional delays associated with fiat-to-crypto conversions and provides users with faster, more efficient access to digital assets.
It also supports a more streamlined and cost-effective transaction experience for customers operating within a regulated environment.
Abdulwahed AlJanahi Chief Executive BENEFIT
“We are pleased to partner with Rain Bahrain on this integration, which reflects BENEFIT’s continued role in advancing Bahrain’s digital payments landscape and delivering real value to users. Enabling BenefitPay as a payment method for Rain customers brings added convenience and speed to users seeking regulated access to virtual assets, while also highlighting the strength and adaptability of Bahrain’s financial infrastructure.”
Geoff Stecyk, General Manager Bahrain at Rain, noted that, “Bahrain has been Rain Management W.L.L.’s home since we received the region’s first virtual asset service provider license, and we remain committed to delivering the best possible experience for our customers in the market. Becoming the first crypto platform to integrate BenefitPay is a milestone, enabling customers to use a trusted payment method for instant and cost-efficient access to virtual assets. With Rain operating 24/7 and BenefitPay’s continuous availability, customers can now fund and trade at any time, throughout the year.”
The initiative reflects the broader convergence of Bahrain’s regulated financial infrastructure and the growing digital asset economy.
Rain and BENEFIT indicated that they will continue to explore additional opportunities to enhance digital financial services and improve customer experience as part of Bahrain’s wider digital transformation strategy.
