The video news agency Viory has partnered with key media organizations to expand its reach across Africa and Arab world during its participations at the 25th Arab Radio and Television Festival, organized by the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) in Tunisia.
The agency signed Memoranda of Cooperation (MoC) with Agence Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP) and the O.I.C States Broadcasting Union (OSBU), both organizations play key roles in advancing regional media across the MEA region.
This move highlights Viory’s commitment to deepening cooperation across interconnected media landscapes, supporting mutual growth, local insight, and the exchange of content and expertise across borders.
The partnership with TAP enables content sharing, technological integration, and joint efforts to enhance the media landscape within their respective countries. Meanwhile, the agreement with OSBU, a confederation of broadcasting organizations from O.I.C member states, will pave the way to a vast network of media outlets, fostering cross-border content exchange and collaboration on a larger scale.
Through these collaborations, Viory will earn valuable insights into local markets and cultural nuances, ensuring it can effectively link its content with the media. The agreements also foster knowledge sharing between the parties, enhancing the journalistic standards for today’s digital world.
Zulayho Siddikova, General Manager of Viory, commented that, “These new partnerships with Agence Tunis Afrique Presse and the O.I.C States Broadcasting Union are instrumental to Viory’s ambitious outreach into Arab world, African region and beyond. Following our successful Memorandum of Cooperation signing with the Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation, these latest agreements reinforce our dedication to building a strong network of media partners across the Global South. We are excited to leverage these collaborations to deliver innovative solutions and high-quality content that empowers local media and connects communities.”
These strategic partnerships underscore Viory’s expanding role as a connector across the MEA region, teaming up with organizations that reflect the multilingual, multicultural and strategic complexity of today’s media ecosystem in the Global South.
