The Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has partnered with Google Cloud, aiming at significantly advancing Kahramaa’s artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, driving digital transformation, and reinforcing Qatar’s position as a regional technology leader.

This strategic collaboration introduces four key initiatives designed to enhance customer service, sustainability, and operational excellence at Kahramaa through advanced AI integration.

Through the new partnership, employees will be transitioned to Google’s Gemini Enterprise, a platform designed to optimize resources and deliver an enhanced user experience.

With NotebookLM as a key feature for knowledge synthesis, this initiative will empower employees to fully harness advanced AI tools for in-depth research, creative idea generation, content creation, and media production. Additionally, it will facilitate the development of custom AI assistants tailored to individual workflows, improving productivity, enhancing decision-making, and streamlining daily operations across various departments.

Additionally, Kahramaa’s data center will be migrated to Google Cloud to leverage the scalability, flexibility, and advanced services within the Google Cloud Doha region. This move strengthens Kahramaa’s multi-cloud strategy and ensures long-term operational resilience.
